The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for multiple projects. This position will work closely with cross functional teams and customers to implement robust Salesforce solutions. In addition, this position requires one to work closely with the Salesforce Administrator to properly prioritize each initiative, product and service, as well as improve processes, procedures and standards based on historical information and lessons learned.


  • Maintain an understanding of business processes and the application systems/infrastructure that supports them
  • Understand solution designs and implement programmatic changes and configuration in Salesforce
  • Work with Source Code control systems such as Blue Canvas to maintain the Code Repository
  • Participate in the change management process to ensure smooth transition/hand offs between infrastructure and application teams
  • Monitor performance and provide responsive action to issues
  • Maintain high-level internal customer satisfaction through the successful resolution of customer requests/issues/change requests
  • Maintain an excellent quality standard for projects delivered to customers in a fast-paced work environment
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
  • Assist with training new system users
  • Implement feature sets using standard and custom objects, workflows, triggers, user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, email alerts and templates, and campaigns
  • Develop and maintain Flow, Process Builder, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Apex, and integration tools to other third-party solutions
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades for optimal performance
  • Assists in other duties as assigned

  • Experience with the Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) installed package
  • Ability to integrate and continually update external systems including, but not limited to, marketing, accounting, shipping, and customer support systems into the Salesforce platform


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Administration, preferred
  • Salesforce Certification Platform Developer I, required
  • Salesforce Certification Platform Developer II, preferred
  • 5 years Salesforce experience as a Developer
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with OOP Programming, Java, Web Services, XML, XSLT, and SOAP; or equivalent
  • Salesforce DX development and deployment
  • Expertise in Salesforce.com development including SDLC best practices, standard and custom objects, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework and JavaScript Frameworks
