The Systems Administrator will lead out on planning, coordinating, directing and designing IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and address daily IT department needs. The Systems Administrator will be a critical thinker who will drive regardless of obstacles, the implementation of IT projects within the organization.  The Systems Administrator will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. The Systems Administrator will also define and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices.  The Systems Administrator will maintain regular reports to be delivered to company leadership.  This position reports to the I.T. Director and is based in Temecula, CA.


  • Lead the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, networks, servers, PCs, Macs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and Office Automation equipment
  • Source and negotiate with technical experts, administer vendor, outsourcer and consultant contracts and service agreements within all I.T. disciplines
  • Benchmark, analyze, report on and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems
  • Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
  • Develop and implement all IT policies, procedures and standards, including those for architecture, security and disaster recovery, purchasing and service provision
  • Provide monthly IT reports for Executive Management
  • Practice asset management for IT hardware, software and equipment
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads and end users regarding pertinent IT activities
  • Manage detailed internal and external IT projects

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CIS, Computer Science or relevant work experience
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, MCITP, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, Cloud+, Security+, GSEC are preferred
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols and OSI model (Firewall, Routing, Switching, VLANs, VPNs, IPSEC, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP v4/v6, DNS, DHCP, FTP, RDP, LDAP, PKI, RADIUS, VoIP/SIP, SSL, TLS, SSH, SMTP, SAML, WS-Fed)
  • Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications, network, and PC & Mac operating systems
  • Extensive application support experience
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development
  • Security awareness, incident investigation and remediation
  • Proficiency in the following applications:
    • Microsoft Office365 Administration, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Salesforce.com, Adobe Creative Suite, Windows Server 2008 and 2012, JAMF Apple Device Management, IP/Network Management, Fortinet Routers and Switches, VPN Technology, Network Security, Exchange Server, PBX Phone Systems, Virtual Meetings,
