In his role as Senior Partner and National Bestselling Author for Partners In Leadership, Tanner actively leads many of the firms largest consulting projects, including the design and execution of multi-year client engagements.

Tanner has led large scale transformation projects with Fortune 1000 clients across numerous global industries, with extensive experience in leading healthcare, pharmaceutical, and hospital related projects. For each of these projects, Tanner contributes to executive team alignment work, executive coaching and the transferring of expertise to business excellence teams within the client organization.

In addition to his work as a Senior Partner, Tanner co-authored Propeller: Accelerating Change by Getting Accountability Right and actively participates in content authorship and curriculum development efforts for Partners In Leadership. He is also a regular contributor for Inc. magazine.

Tanner received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his MBA from the University of Missouri. Tanner has lived abroad and is proficient in the Spanish language.

His client consulting and training projects include multi-year engagements with companies like Arby’s, Avery Dennison, Brinker International, Char-Broil, Hormel, HCA (Hospital Corporation of America), Johnson Controls, Kimberly-Clark, Ocean Spray, Sutter Health, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., US Foods, and Windstream. In each of these organizations, Tanner has worked with the executive leadership teams and led project teams to introduce and sustain the PIL change management process within the client organization.

Tanner regularly serves as a keynote speaker for major conferences and events, including numerous ATD and SHRM events throughout the United States. Tanner is also a featured speaker for long-standing clients such as Arby’s Restaurant Group and Chili’s Restaurants, where he is regularly called upon to address their leadership conferences. His client successes have been published in numerous publications, including turnaround efforts at Ocean Spray in Training magazine and OSF Home Health’s turnaround by the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
