Privacy Statement

1. What we do at Partners In Leadership

Partners in Leadership (“Partners”, “we”, “us”, “our”, or “our Company”) provides Accountability Training and Culture Change consulting services to corporate customers.

Our services include assessing our customers’ Workplace Accountability Index™ (individually, the “WAI”), Culture Advantage Index™ (individually, the “CAI”), and various 360 Assessments – all of which are based on an employee assessments (collectively together, the “Assessment” or “Assessments”) that measure the level of accountability within an organization and how this impacts organizational agility.

2. What this statement covers

Your privacy and trust are important to us. In this Privacy Statement (“Statement”), we explain how we collect, store, and otherwise process your personal data. This Statement exclusively applies in the context of determining the Assessments of the organization you work for (“Your Organization”).

4. Categories of personal data we process and sources we use

At Your Organization’s request, we process the following personal data about you:

– Data you provide to us as part of your participation in the Assessment; this includes your Assessment responses with regards to Your Organization and might include demographic information about yourself; and

– Data Your Organization provides to us; this might include your name, gender, e-mail address, age, job level, department, location, and/or tenure.

5. How we use your personal data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

– To perform our contractual obligations with Your Organization and perform the services you decided to participate in;

– To exercise legal claims and defend litigation;

– To send you communications, including by email; and

– To generally manage our business and develop and provide our services.

6. Recipients of your personal data

As allowed by applicable law, we may share your personal data for the above-mentioned purposes with the following third parties:

– Processors used by us, particularly in the field of IT services;

– Courts, arbitration tribunals, authorities or legal advisers if required to comply with applicable law or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;

– In case of a reorganization or sale of our Company or assets, to the respective acquirer, subject to the acquirer accepting the commitments made in this Statement.

We share your Assessment responses with Your Organization in aggregated form only and without reference to individual employees.

Further, we share anonymized or pseudonymized data from the WAI or CAI and any learnings derived from anonymized or pseudonymized WAI or CAI data from the WAI or CAI with third parties to generally manage our business and develop and provide our services. We do not share any Assessment results with third parties in a manner that identifies Your Organization or individual participants.

7. For how long your personal data will be retained

We store your personal data no longer than required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, pursuant to a written agreement with Your Organization, and/or as permitted or required by applicable law.

8. Data transfer to third countries or an international organization

We are a US based company. If you participate in the Assessment, you will send data to, and your personal data will be stored on, servers in the United States and/or Canada. We provide appropriate safeguards to protect your data. If you require further information on our safeguards, please contact us in writing using the contact information provided in section 3.

9. Your data protection rights

We take your rights and needs very seriously and always endeavor to fulfil them. If you have any questions regarding our processing of your personal data or would like to express any concerns in this respect, please do not hesitate to contact us in writing using the contact information provided in section 3.

Additionally, under the laws in your jurisdiction, you may have a right to access personal data about you, to correct such information, and/or to request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with applicable law. You may also be entitled to object to certain data processing activities or to revoke consent previously granted, to the extent permitted by local law. Such requests may be submitted for review, verification, and appropriate action using the contact information provided in section 3.

10. Privacy Information for California Residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”):

The CCPA, which becomes effective on January 1, 2020, gives California residents certain additional rights related to their personal information, as set forth below. Please use the contact information in Section 3 to submit requests pursuant to the CCPA.

– Right to know about collection (§1798.110):

• As of January 1, 2020, you may request that we disclose the following to you via a verified request:

1) The categories of personal information we have collected about you.

2) The categories of sources from which the personal information is collected.

3) The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information.

4) The categories of third parties with whom we share personal information.

5) The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

– Right to know about sale or disclosure (§1798.115):

• As of January 1, 2020, you may request that we disclose the following to you via a verified request:

1) The categories of personal information that we have collected about you.

2) The categories of personal information that we have sold about you, and the categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold, by category or categories of personal information for each third party to whom the personal information was sold.

3) The categories of personal information that we have disclosed about you for a business purpose.

• Please note, however, we do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA.

– Right to deletion (§1798.105):

• As of January 1, 2020, you may submit a verified request that we delete any personal information about you that we have collected from you.

Please note there are some exceptions to these rights. For example, it is not possible for us to delete your data if we have a legal obligation to retain it or if we are unable to identify your personal data.

Lastly, if you exercise your rights, we will not (§1798.125):

– Deny goods or services to you.

– Charge different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits, or impose penalties.

– Provide a different level or quality of goods or services to you.

– Suggest that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

California Do Not Track Disclosures:

When you are accessing our Assessment, if you would like to opt out of tracking—which can help you control targeted advertising by third parties that track your activities across different sites—you may be able to disable certain Cookies through your device or browser settings. The method for disabling cookies may vary by device and browser, but can usually be found in preferences or security settings. If you are not comfortable with the above uses of Cookies, please do not participate in the Assessment.

Please note we do not change system behavior within our Assessment in response to browser requests not to be tracked. You may, however, disable certain tracking as discussed in this section (e.g., by disabling cookies or opting out of ad networks).

11. Security

We take precautions—including administrative, technical, and physical measures—to safeguard your personal data against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
